Hina: Awesome Waqar.
Now I want to ask you some random questions;
Hina: What does Poetry
means to you?
Waqar:
For me, it keeps me relax, it makes me happy, and helps me in my daily life,
even if I am feeling down, I write poetry for myself and it gives me energy.
Hina: Well said. Who is
your favorite poet?
Waqar:
Well, my favorite poets are including Alama Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Parveen
Shakir, Munir Niazi and Anwar Masood.
Hina: Okay, Who is the
prettiest lady in the world in your opinion?
Waqar:
Well. For me, my wife would be the prettiest lady. That is the safest answer.
Hina: [Both laugh], what
is your idea about life and love?
Waqar:
This is an Interesting Question. Life is the hope for love. Love is the hope for
life. No one is the bed of roses. Both are equally challenging. [Both laugh]
Hina: [Thoughtful] Yeah.
What do you think of your college life?
Waqar:
Oh Yes. I can never forget my college life. It was without doubt the golden
period of my life. I really enjoyed studying as well as playing cricket at my
college.
Hina: Fine. What is a
fashion according to you?
Waqar:
Actually, fashion, for me, is the way of maintaining yourself in accordance to
your group of people. But you know, my father says “Fashion the art of fool”.
[Laughs]
Hina: Would you like give
any message for your fans and upcoming poets?
Waqar:
Yeah for sure, to my fans, friends and associates, everybody who is reading
“Man Katehra” or listening it’s MP3 on my website www.marvelsystem.com,
I would like to thank you all, from the extreme depth of my heart, for your
support, interest and love. I wish you all for a very happy and successful life.
To all up and coming poets and writers I say, keep it all real, be honest with
your work, be sincere to your fans and leave the rest up to Allah.
